I tried nearly everything to help combat my fear of flying: the courses, the exhaustive research, even a flight in a cockpit, to no avail. In desperation I turned to Miriam Mills to help me, my first time ever with a therapist. In two sessions I was able to look forward to a holiday whereas in the past the days before a flight would have been filled with apprehension. This time, I had an almost jaunty step when I boarded the plane. And the flight was absolutely fine. Yes, a bit of trepidation in turbulence but nothing more than that.
