Self-Esteem

Ones self-esteem will determine the results of whatever we undertake. It can work for
us or be our own worst enemy. If you think you deserve something and your selfesteem
is also high , yourself esteem will subconsciously help you achieve what you
want by guiding you to make the necessary decisions to get it. The opposite of course
is also true.

How do we improve our self esteem?

We can improve our self esteem by doing things that make us feel good about
ourselves. Also when other people say good things to us or about us it helps boost
our self esteem. Try thinking good thoughts about ourselves and try to be less critical
is a good start. Studies show that 86% of what we say to ourselves is negative, so we
need to pay more attention to our self talk and catch ourselves when we are being
harsh or critical.

There is a direct relationship between self esteem and success. It is a virtuous cycle,
the more success we achieve no matter how small the higher our self esteem
becomes. If our self esteem is low we need to ask ourselves, ‘what is holding me back
from achieving the success I say I want? If FEAR holding you back? Is fear of
success preventing you from succeeding or fear of failure, rejection?
We need to take responsibility for where we are in our life and how we arrived at this
point. Don’t be a victim, do not blame others. Take control of your life and how you
react to life events. We do not always have control over circumstances or people but
what we do have control over is how we react and recover from hardships and
knocks. Believe in yourself, belief you have the power and strength within to handle
whatever comes your way.

Practice saying the following affirmation.
” I handle everything that comes my way with ease.”
